The story
Mallory Everton was born September 20, 1989 in Portland, Oregon. She studied Film at Brigham Young University and joined Divine Comedy, the student sketch group, initially as a videographer before stepping in front of the camera. That decision worked out.
She was one of the original ten cast members of BYUtv's Studio C from 2012 through season 9, then co-founded JK! Studios with the rest of the family in 2018. As a writer-director-performer, she's the one whose name is on most of the credits — sometimes all of them at once.
She co-wrote and co-starred in Loving Lyfe and Freelancers (both with Whitney Call), made her directorial debut with Stop and Go (2021), and led Villains Inc. (2024) as Beatrix, the would-be villain trying to climb the henchpeople ladder alongside Colin Mochrie, Jason Gray, and Billy Mann. You may also recognize her as Goldilocks in Purple Mattress's "Raw Egg Test" commercial.
Behind the scenes
Mallory is the cast member who can be on set, in the writers' room, and on the phone with a producer all at the same time, and somehow the funniest thing in the room is still whatever she just muttered to herself between takes.
